Meet Carrie Knox, Au.D., CCC-A

Owner and audiologist Carrie Knox, Au.D., CCC-A earned a Doctor of Audiology (Au.D.) degree from James Madison University in 2009, following a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in English and a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Communication Sciences & Disorders, also from James Madison University. After graduate school, Dr. Knox joined Ear, Nose, & Throat Associates of Tidewater, where she provided audiology services for Dr. John Lyle and Dr. Eugenia Gray for close to five years. Following Dr. Lyle’s retirement, she launched Knox Audiology & Hearing Care in 2014 to continue to provide compassionate audiology and hearing aid services for the Suffolk area. Patients rely on Dr. Knox’s warm approach to patient interaction, with one-on-one attention to hearing needs and concerns. Dr. Knox is certified by the American Speech, Language & Hearing Association and is licensed as both a Hearing Aid Specialist and Audiologist in Virginia. She lives in Northern Suffolk with her husband, a Suffolk native, their young daughter, and their two Boston Terriers, Gizmo and Zelda.
